The Dead Serial Killers is a death-metal band based in Ramona. It was founded in 2004 by guitarist guitarist Joe Faust (former bassist/singer of De la corte and bassist for DIYM) and drummer Jake Pucillo (formerly of Flesh Peddler). They turn up frequently around town, including a Ramona pub called Molly Malone’s. “That place has been going off,” says Pucillo. “Sprung Monkey killed there. 2 Live Crew played there, too.”
Their album Devils and Demons was recorded at the Ramona Music Center, a storefront music store with a recording studio/rehearsal space in the back.
