While in high school, Stockton, California native Cindy Santini played the horn and sang in the eight-piece hip-hop/ska band Phirocious Allstars, an ensemble that played numerous county fairs and recorded a CD. During this period, she taught herself to play guitar and write songs, eventually being voted Most Likely to Become a Rock Star by her senior class.
After attending UCSD, she cofounded a successful web-development company and was a web developer for San Diego-based Taylor Guitars, until deciding to focus her attention on music.
Santini’s album Making Sound was released in November 2009, on Orlando-based Bonded Records. Producers include Stuart Brawley (Michael Jackson, Don Henley, Celine Dion) and Joe Cocoran.
