Based in Pacific Beach, folk rockers Chugboat were influenced by bluegrass, classic rock, and calypso music. Formed in summer 2015 by Josh Davis (Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash) and Jesse Orlando, the band (originally called Casual Friday) was soon joined by John Zamani (Miles Ahead) and Ric Mroczek.
Their album Definitely Good Enough was released in 2015. Within a few years, they became inactive.
