Based in Pacific Beach, BoomSnap is a funk-progressive rock trio featuring drummer Dean Maidhof (AKA Scallawag Moses Jones), bassist Stephen Gentillalli (AKA Spex), and guitarist Russell Ramo. A self-titled full-length was released in 2010.
In early 2013, they signed with PB-based Little Bird Records and began recording their next full-length.
