Today, Nathan Williams, front man for Wavves, announced on Twitter that he is one step closer to releasing his own video game.
"Remember when I said we were making a video game? I wasn't lying," he tweeted.
Williams included a screen shot of the game in the tweet.
"That's a very early screen shot it will be bananas when it is all done."
Williams commented on the game to indie-music website Pitchfork.com.
"All I can say for now is we are in the early stages of building levels and characters. The premise is sort of a nightmare and the majority of the game will play like [the 1984 Atari game] "Paperboy" on acid or early "Simpsons" NES titles..."
