Ronne Froman, the retired Navy admiral who abruptly quit as Mayor Jerry Sanders's top aide last June, has been named senior vice president of the energy group for defense contractor General Atomics. It was announced in the December issue of "General Atomics Update," an internal publication. Since last year, Froman has been seen at Beautiful People social events with Linden Blue, who runs General Atomics with his brother Neal. She left the mayor's employ shortly after being put in charge of a planned whitewash of the administration's handling of the Sunroad scandal -- an impossible assignment. At the time of her departure, Sanders said she had only planned to spend two years on the job, but that was not discussed when she had run with Sanders as a two-person team. She left Sanders after 18 months on the job.
