Most people go to a pub to drink but I go to Rocky's Crown Pub in Pacific Beach to eat.
With a very limited menu, you don't have many decisions to make. Do you want a hamburger or a cheeseburger ($5.25 or $6.50)? Do you want a 1/3-pound or 1/2-pound burger ($5.25 or $6.00)? Do you want French fries ($2.75)? Do you want a soda or a beer? That's pretty much it. These quality burgers are very juicy, the kind of juice that drips from the bun. The additions are tomato, mayo, lettuce, red onion (raw or grilled) and cheese (if you order a cheeseburger, which I recommend). And a few pickles are served with each burger.

There is a Lunch Special: 1/2-pound cheeseburger, French fries and a drink, either a soda or a pint of draft beer ($10.50).
And the Sunday Football Special offers beer, over 10 beers on tap, and mimosas. After all, this is a sports bar.
One other item can add heat to your experience. A crock of green peppers adorn each table. And I mean hot!
Rocky's is not large. There are about a dozen bar stools at the bar and 5 tables with bar stools. A few seats around the edge of the room and a small kitchen in back and that's it. Cash only and no children allowed. After all, this is a pub.
