Susan Goldbeck: San Diego Comes of Age

Susan Goldbeck is the author of the new book, New Town: San Diego Comes of Age, a story told through the eyes of a gutsy young reporter, Mary Kate Riley. She cuts her teeth covering on what was called “the trial of the century," which pits San Diego against its arch rival Los Angeles. Goldbeck will share tales and period photos about the little known history of the city. 

When: Thursday, May 16, 4 pm

Canadian pop duo Tegan and Sara are multi-instrumentalist identical twin sisters. They’ve released ten studio albums and earned a Grammy nomination for their video album Get Along. Their Not Tonight Tour comes on the heels of their most recent studio album, Crybaby
