08:30 River: Medical distress call reporting 2 people stuck inside a vehicle in Otay Mesa (La Media/Airway Rd). Lifeguards respond, category 1 river call. Lifeguards are cancelled in route because victims were walked out by fire personnel.

13:03 Boating: Disabled vessel in Mission Bay Channel. Lifeguard rescue vessel tows disabled boat into turning basin for Sea Tow.

13:11 Medical: 29 year-old female bee sting patient at Ocean Beach Dog Beach. Lifeguard handles and releases patient.

15:57 Medical: Lifeguard responds with medics and fire to Bonita Cove for a man down. Units contact the man and there is no emergency, all units clear.

16:15 Medical: 29 year-old male with a shoulder injury at the volleyball courts at La Jolla Shores. Lifeguard and fire respond.

19:40 Swimmer: Pier jumper at Ocean Beach, male, no struggle witnessed but cannot find person. Lifeguards respond along with 2 San Diego police units. Secondary witnesses said the man was seen on the beach and all units go clear.

20:34 Boating: Tony from Tow Boat US reports a 21-foot tuna boat anchored but disabled about 30 yards off the South Channel Jetty tip with 2 persons on board. Lifeguard rescue vessel responds and assists with an emergency tow in to Mission Bay. Tow Boat US arrives shortly after to assist the vessel with a tow. All units clear.

10:54 Swimmer: report of 2 surfers in the rip current off Westbourne Street. Lifeguard responds and makes 2 rescues.

12:38 Boating: South Mission lifeguards report a boat on the rocks at the South Channel Jetty. Lifeguard rescue vessels, jet ski units respond. 1 person on board rescued, vessel sinks next to jetty, is marked with buoys and the Coast Guard is notified.

13:59 Medical: Medical distress call for a 75 year-old female, fall on Ocean Beach Pier. Lifeguard, fire, and medical units respond. Lifeguard drives patient off the pier to medics at the base of the pier. Medics transport patient to unknown destination.

17:15 Medical: 911 call for an 18 year-old male stingray victim on the beach at Emerald St. Lifeguard transports victim for routine treatment.

17:35 Medical: Ocean Beach lifeguards request medics for a 31 year-old male with an avulsion to the right toe from a skateboarding accident. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

10:21 Medical: 911 caller states they have suffered a stingray puncture at Blacks Beach. Patient is treated by lifeguard and transported to the top of Black Gold Road.

15:15 Medical: Tourmaline Call Box caller states they have suffered a stingray puncture. Lifeguard responds and patient refuses treatment.

10:19 Other: VHF channel 16 report of a body in the water on half mile off Mission Beach. Lifeguard vessels and San Diego Police units respond. Body reported by fishing vessel. Police and Medical Examiner transported to scene via lifeguard vessel. Lifeguards and police work together and remove body from scene.

10:29 Medical: 32 year-old female with knee injury from a scooter fall on the boardwalk at the foot of Santa Clara Place. Lifeguard at scene and medics respond. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

13:16 Medical; 911 call of unknown age male that sustained a laceration to his arm from surfboard fin. Lifeguards and medics respond. Medics transport patient to Scripps La Jolla.

15:00 Medical: Tourmaline call box report of a 30 year-old male stingray victim. Lifeguards, respond, treat and release.

16:09 Swimmer: Lifeguard requests medics for an 8 year-old male that aspirated water at Mission Beach. Medics and fire respond. Medics transport patient to Children’s Hospital.

16:10 Medical: Ocean Beach lifeguards request medics for a 21 year-old male with a dislocated shoulder from surfing. Fire and Medics respond. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

17:17 Other: Lifeguard reports 7 year-old missing juvenile on the 3100 block of Ocean Front Walk. The juvenile reported missing for one hour. San Diego police notified. Missing juvenile located by lifeguard and reunited with family.

05:03 Boating: 911 call of vessel adrift in Mission Bay Channel. Lifeguard vessel responds and takes vessel under tow to mariners. Lifeguard re-anchors vessel safely.

14:58 Medical: Lifeguard requests paramedics to Belmont Park for knee injury 60 year-old female. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

15:30 Medical: Stingray at Blacks Beach. Lifeguard responds and performs standard treatment.

18:25 Hand injury at Pacific Beach tower, 65 year-old male. Lifeguards and medics respond. Medics transport patient to unknown location

08:19 Medical: Report of 58 year-old male that fell on rocks at Stub Jetty in Ocean Beach. Lifeguards, fire and medics respond. Lifeguard transports patient off beach to medics. Patient taken to Kaiser Zion.

08:48 Medical: Tourmaline call box report of a 24 year-old female with an eye injury from a surfing accident. Lifeguards respond. Minor medical aid. Treat and release.

12:06 Boating: Report of two vessels possibly in distress near the rock in the turning basin in Mission Bay. Lifeguard vessel responds and investigates. Vessels are clear of rocks and anchored. No aid rendered.

14:56 Boating: La Jolla Shores reports kayakers waving paddles for help in the Devil Slides area. Two victims stuck on rocks. Lifeguard vessel and jet ski unit respond. Both victims extricated by Jet ski guard with no injuries.
