2011 saw the United States release of Love Crime, a French corporate-erotic thriller starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier as a couple of hot lesbians, er, as a couple of professional women who get entangled in less than professional ways. Now, just two years later, Brian De Palma is bringing us an English-language version, with Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace filling in for the original ladies. You know, sort of the way David Fincher remade The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo just a couple of years after the Swedish version came out, with Rooney Mara filling in for Noomi Rapace. So remember: after Rooney replaced Noomi, Noomi replaced Ludivine. Got that? (2013) — Matthew Lickona
