Alan Hoffman, lecturer in city planning, School of Public Affairs at SDSU, and an authority on transit, transportation, and urban planning, will speak on Solving Our Real Problem: A Strategic Approach to Regional Planning.
His Quickway Proposal is a new regional plan that will improve transit and traffic flows, create world-class bicycle facilities, strengthen the pedestrian environment, solve parking issues in commercial districts, and create what may become one of San Diego’s outstanding public projects of the 21st Century: the Sails to Trails linear park. Students are free.
