Based in Golden Hill, Warsaw features Demetrius Antuña and John Mattos (both formerly of Ilya) along with Rebecca Antuña and Lance LaFave (both of Kata). Their debut performance took place November 10, 2016 at the Whistle Stop in South Park.
The band's first release was a self-titled six-song EP. A music video for "Shadows" was directed by Grant Reinero, shot by Brian Desjean, and produced by Smoking Jacket Films.
By 2019, Lance LaFave had relocated to Germany, where he co-produced a new Manganista album via long distance file sharing, Hillbilly Bomb Shelter. By the end of the year, the band had changed its name to Tulpa Luna.
