When Psychosally frontman Trevor Sesma died in November 2018, the music didn't necessarily just stop. "I played bass for the band," says his son Dustin Trenton Sesma, "and during the making of our album, he unexpectedly passed away. I formed a new band with a new sound featuring the drummer of Psychosally [B.C. "Coco" Knight] and the frontman of another band, The Best Grotesque [Dani Valentine]."
"We all grew up in San Diego, and our music is very heavily gothic and horror inspired, with the use of some orchestral sounds and synthesizers. Our production quality and song structure is a lot more put together as well, I believe, Psychosally was very rock 'n' roll."
Two songs were released on Spotify in advance of the release of their debut EP Fables For The Wicked on October 31, 2022. "The EP is a concept EP," says Sesma. "It is one consecutive story about various fairy tale, and classic horror characters. It starts with the evil queen and snow white. Moves into the story of Frankenstein, and ends with a zombie apocalypse. From there it moves into Pinocchio's origin story and finishes with Rumplestiltskin." The EP was produced and recorded by band singer Dani Valentine.
