The Marsupials, featuring Jimmy Armbrust (Louis XIV, Rats Eyes), released a split seven inch in 2011 with Otro (formely known as Kuntz), on Ratcore Records.
A vinyl split seven inch with Otro was released in January 2012 on local La Escalera Records, founded by Moosejaw drummer Ezequiel Pelayo, who also books shows around town via Another Zeke Productions, though most know him as Ziggy.
As of 2013, guitarist David Robles also played with Wha?, a goth-punk band formed in 2012 by longtime Casbah bartender Ben Johnson, aka comedic rapper Grammatical B, of the Long and Short of It, alongside keyboardist Tracy Wooley (Beehive & the Barracudas), with Kaoss Pad.
Having played around town for about four years, the Marsupials announced in summer 2014 that they were breaking up.
In April 2016, singer Doug Thompson launched Low and Be Told, alongside bassist George Vidaurri (Uncle Joe's Big Ol' Driver), guitarist Frank Blackcat, and drummer Darrin Lee (the Marsupials).
