Landis St. was founded in 2010 by Dusty Norberg (Manganista), Anthony Cafiso, and Jeff Ludwig, all previously from Holding Air Hostage. A self-titled Landis EP was recorded in 2013 with Jeff Berkely. Later joined by guitarist-vocalist Ryan Satterfield, the group recorded an album in 2019.
In April of 2022, Landis changed their name to Landis St., named after the San Diego street, where drummer Dustin Norberg lived In North Park for more than a decade. It runs straight through the neighborhood the band calls home.
Their ten-song album Window, released in Autumn 2022, was recorded live at Rarefied studios in North Park. The band wanted to capture their live sound and feel, where all tracks were recorded live, with minimal track editing. The album was mixed by Lance LaFave in Germany, and mastered at Bellwether in Portland, Maine.
