Juice Box is fronted by drummer/composer Matthew Smith. "I bought a suitcase Rhodes from Craigslist and took the whole month of February and wrote one song per day, with no real project in mind. I then took what songs I felt had the most impact and formed the group."
The group includes Ed Kornhauser on Fender Rhodes, Omar Lopez on bass, and Louis Valenzuela on guitar, and occasional guest vocalists like San Francisco singer Lewis Gallardo.
