Dolan Brotherhood features New Jersey-bred James Brady and other surviving members of A New Day Mile. The band name is in tribute to New Day Mile drummer Frank Dolan, who passed away in 2011 from esophageal cancer.
In early 2015, Dolan Brotherhood did pre-production work with Billy Sherwood of Yes before recording new tracks with Alan Sanderson (Rolling Stones, etc.) at Pacific Beat Recording. The resulting album Love and Hurricanes was released that August.
Dolan Brotherhood went on indefinite hiatus in 2017. James Brady co-founded Aether X, a progressive hard rock trio featuring Jeff Smith (drummer for Dazed and Confused) and Everybody Panic bassist-singer Michael Alarid (formerly of Aghori).
